My passion for helping others stems from my own experience growing up in poverty with an alcoholic father and a mother who struggled with mental health issues. These challenges shaped my path and inspired me to become a men’s mental health therapist who brings empathy and lived understanding to the work.
Since graduating with my Bachelor of Social Work in 1995, I’ve dedicated my life to helping others, especially men, heal, reconnect with themselves, and build meaningful relationships. I’m trained in evidence-based approaches, including:

As a father of five and part of a blended family, I bring personal insight into the dynamics of parenting, step-parenting, and the complexities of family life. This perspective allows me to support other men in reclaiming their sense of purpose, strength, and emotional clarity.
Having lived and worked across Canada, I’ve had the privilege of working with diverse cultural and ethnic groups, including Indigenous communities. As a proud Métis individual, I bring cultural humility and a deep respect for diversity into every session recognizing that healing isn’t one-size-fits-all.
